Large oak, poplar, and pine trees shade the lovingly landscaped grounds designed by local landscaper Cheryl Kanes. The owners invite guests to enjoy the spacious screen porch for relaxing and bird watching. The porch, with ceiling fans, overlooks the perennial garden and pond. Mahonia, four o'clocks, rose of Sharon, and nandina plus banks of azaleas enhance the privacy of the property. Guests have been pleased with the restful, quiet atmosphere in the midst of a busy city. The two-story private home was built in the 1950's and has a colonial feel. Furnishings feature family antiques and soft pastels. Come stay with us for your "getaway" in the city.
